Serenity Counseling & Resource Center, Inc. offers office appointments during standard business hours on weekdays. Telehealth appointments are available during standard business hours on weekdays and weekends as well as during extended hours (evenings and nights) on weekdays and weekends.  

COVID-19 Precautions

Serenity Counseling & Resource Center, Inc. understands the necessity of being healthy and safe during these uncertain times of COVID-19. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms, we encourage you to contact your medical provider. Also, we require that you call our office to schedule a telehealth appointment.

Office Appointment

Serenity Counseling & Resource Center, Inc. requires everyone (staff and clients/patients) to wear a face mask at all times while present in the office to ensure the health and safety of everyone and to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Only individuals receiving services and staff are permitted in the office.

Telehealth Appointment

Serenity Counseling & Resource Center, Inc. offers telehealth services whereby you can receive online outpatient therapy from the comfort and privacy of your home, while at work during your break, or at any appropriate location agreed upon by you and your therapist.  Utilizing an online, user-friendly, real-time, HIPAA-compliant, secure communication technology, you can receive online outpatient therapy by talking with your therapist from your smartphone, desktop computer, laptop, tablet, etc.

Serenity Counseling & Resource Center, Inc.’s telehealth service is only available to individuals, families, and couples receiving services in North Carolina. There is no additional cost for our telehealth service. Eligibility to receive telehealth service is determined on an individualized case-by-case. 

Outpatient Therapy Settings

Serenity Counseling & Resource Center, Inc. offers outpatient therapy in a variety of settings deemed clinically and ethically appropriate, safe, confidential, mutually agreed between you and your therapist, and approved by your insurance carrier. Settings may include the office, home, place of employment/work, telehealth (smartphone, desktop computer, laptop, tablet, etc.), shelter, school, crisis center, community (library, park, etc.), safe haven, etc. At the discretion of Serenity Counseling & Resource Center, Inc., any setting deemed unsafe, illegal, or may present a risk factor will be denied.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

Serenity Counseling & Resource Center, Inc. encourages you to attend your scheduled appointments. Should you need to cancel an appointment, please notify us within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.
